King’s Quest Church began with a handful of people meeting in a living room in 1998. With a strong leading and desire to plant a new church in Woodbury, MN, one of the fastest growing suburbs in the Twin Cities, the group soon began holding regular Sunday morning services at Woodbury Junior High School and later at Gordon Bailey Elementary School. Today King’s Quest gathers together at Central Park, 8595 Central Park Place, in Woodbury MN.
Services begin at 9:30am Sunday mornings with Kidz Power Church for ages 2-11, Teen Bible Class and Adult Devotion. A time of Welcome and Refreshments is scheduled for 10:00am each Sunday, with the main Worship Service beginning at 10:30am. Various Life Groups (small groups) meet in homes throughout the surrounding area on Wednesday evenings.
A few things you might want to know before you visit:- At King's Quest, we want to bridge the gap between the contemporary and traditional. We value our heritage and at the same time celebrate the new. Our music is a compilation of Christian contemporary, gospel and traditional hymns and songs and our messages are both meaningful and relevant.
- We want you to be comfortable, so wear whatever you're comfortable wearing. When you're at one of our services, you'll see a range of styles from jeans to suits. Casual or "Sunday best" . . . it doesn't matter. When you visit King’s Quest you can expect to be welcomed warmly, to hear lively music and to find the teachings relevant to your life. We hope you take the opportunity to visit us on a Sunday in the near future to experience The Quest for yourself.
- Our worship services usually last about 60-75 minutes. We hope you can stop by for a visit with members of the Welcome Team and pastoral staff at the Guest Services Table before leaving, however, if you do need to leave early, we certainly understand and hope we will get another opportunity to get to know each other better.
